Terms and Conditions for CGS International Staff Referral Campaign  (the “Campaign”) Campaign Period

This Campaign is valid from 2 August 2021 to 31 December 2021 (both dates inclusive) (“the Campaign Period”).


This Campaign is open to all employees of CGS International Securities (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. (“CGS International”) except for all trading representatives who will be excluded from this Campaign.

Stand a chance to walk away with an Apple Watch 6 when you refer your family and friends who open a trading account with CGS International. Every month during the Campaign Period, two employees with the most amount referrals, will walk away with an Apple watch 6 each!

How to participate?
To participate, all you have to do is:

  1. Refer your family and friends to open a CGS International trading account. Type of accounts included are listed below.
    1. Cash Trading Account (individual or joint)
      • For Cash Trading Account, write in to for your unique referral link! Just pass that link to your family and friends!
    2. Cash Upfront Trading Account (individual or joint),
    3. Margin Trading Account (individual or joint)
    4. Forex Trading Account
      • For Forex Trading Account, write in to and provide the details of your referral.
    5. Leveraged Forex Trading Account
    6. Futures Trading Account
      • For Futures Trading Account and Leveraged Forex Trading Account, write in to and provide the details of your referral.
    7. Global Investment Account
      • For ProsperUs, you can get your family and friends to input your referral code when they sign up for the account. Your referral code is (DR + (last four digits of your CGS International staff number)). E.g. if your staff number is SG1001234, your referral code will be DR1234.
  2. For every account opened successfully, there must be a minimum of S$1,000 funded into the account. The account must maintain a balance of at least S$1,000 for a minimum of two months from the date that such account was opened.
  3. If the criteria above is met, it will be considered as 1 successful referral.

    Other Terms & Conditions
  4. Employees cannot refer other employees to open a trading account.
  5. If an employee wins in one of the months during the Campaign Period, he/she will not be entitled to win another Apple watch 6 again in any of the subsequent months.
  6. To the fullest extent permitted by law, CGS International expressly excludes and disclaims any representations, warranties or endorsements, express or implied, written or oral, including but not limited to any warranty of quality, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose in respect of the Apple watch 6.
  7. The Apple watch 6 is subject to availability. CGS International reserves the right to withdraw or substitute this prize with other items of similar value (but shall not be under any obligation to do so) without prior notice and without assigning any reason.
  8. By participating in this Campaign, each employee is deemed to have read, understood and agrees to be bound by the foregoing terms and conditions of the Campaign, their letter of employment, and the terms and conditions of any other agreement(s) that such employee may have entered into with CGS International.
  9. CGS International reserves the right in its absolute discretion to terminate, vary, delete or add to any of the Campaign’s terms and conditions herein, at any time without prior notice and without having to disclose any reason therefore and without any payment or compensation whatsoever to you.
  10. CGS International, its affiliates, its and their respective employees, directors, officers, representatives and agents shall not be liable to any person for any loss, damage, injury, costs or expenses incurred, suffered, borne or arising from this Campaign.
  11. The decision of CGS International on all matters relating to or arising from this Campaign (including the eligibility of any referral to be considered within the scope of this Campaign, and the eligibility of any employee to participate in this Campaign) is absolute, final and binding and no correspondence and/or requests to retract and/or to modify any such decisions shall be considered. In the event of any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and any marketing material relating to this Campaign, these terms and conditions shall prevail.
  12. CGS International reserves the right to terminate or suspend this Campaign for any reason and without any prior notice whatsoever.
  13. These terms and conditions are governed by and interpreted according to the laws of Singapore and the participants in this Campaign agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
